Why study in New Zealand?
There are a multitude of advantages of studying in another country. Learning another language is always easier when you immerse yourself in the culture, and future employers often prefer applicants who have experienced an exchange abroad. Not to mention the value of personal experience and cultural contrast, which builds character by giving you another point of view about the possible ways of living life.

Last, but not least, it is an incredible experience where you understand that you are a fully functioning human being without your family being physically close. To know that connections remain strong and meaningful over long distances and that you can cope with being in another country and environment.

The registration is not binding. Therefore, if you are interested in going through the process but are still not 100% sure, complete the form and we will get in touch to talk with you about any questions you may have.

How does the New Zealand school system work?
The first year of high school in New Zealand usually begins when the children are around 13 years old and is called “Year 9”. The last year of high school is Year 13 and ends with Level 3 of NCEA.

How long can we stay?
The New Zealand school year is divided into 4 periods of 10 weeks each.
We recommend that students come for at least 2 terms (approximately 5 months)
It is possible to stay from 4 weeks to several years.

Term 2: Monday, May 3 – Friday, July 8
