Our school has 215 students, and we follow the dynamic and stimulating International Cambridge Curriculum from Year 1 to Year 13.
We have purpose-built comfortable classrooms, a senior study room, library, modern information technology resources, science laboratory, art room, a full-size gymnasium with rock wall, play-areas for our younger students, an artificial turf, sports fields, and a lengthy fitness track throughout the property. We are nationally recognised for our exceptional learning environment, and our students achieve excellent academic success whilst also experiencing a large range of exciting outdoor activities in an incredibly beautiful place. The Bay of Islands, New Zealand is a hot spot for outdoor adventure activities.
What makes us unique?
Our school is located away from the big cities which ensures we provide a very kind and caring, safe and supportive family focused learning environment where students excel in their studies.
Our Outdoor Adventure programme is a fantastic opportunity for our Senior Students (Year 10 to 13) to experience an exciting range of outdoor adventure activities that help to build confidence, leadership, resilience and long-lasting friendships.
We have a unique extra-curricular focus on outdoor education, enterprise and community. Our students are regularly involved in a variety of outdoor projects and in conjunction with local clubs our students can participate in activities such as scuba diving, kayaking, sailing, horse riding, golf, tennis, etc.
Sports, Activities & Trips
Our Outdoor Adventure programme is and optional formal class subject for all Year 10 to Year 13 students.
