AICOL, established in 1993 by Jan Keppie and Garth Keppie, provides a wide range of accredited English language courses, including Primary School Preparation and High School Preparation for school-aged students, as well as IELTS and Cambridge test preparation courses for older students.

At our Gold Coast English School we attract students looking for great classes and a good international mix. Here on the sunny Gold Coast you’ll meet students from all over the world!
We prepare students for entry into Primary School, High School and also for entry to university and TAFE. For adults we have Intensive General English at all levels including English for Academic Purposes, IELTS, Cambridge CAE, FCE and PTE Test Preparation courses. In addition, our ‘Parent and Child’, ‘English and Sports’ and our Camp programmes are very popular with parents and children.
AICOL’s homestay placement service ensures a genuine Australian experience in caring and welcoming environments, and our Guardianship service is designed for young students who are travelling alone.

I really enjoyed my English classes with international classmates and friendly teachers.

During activities, I was glad that we were able to go to many popular attractions in Gold Coast. Our Activity guide took care of us kindly and entertained us a lot.

I had a lovely 18 week course in preparation of my CAE. Everyone was lovely and I believe my exam preparation was the best as I was the only one that completed everything within the time limit.
All the staff was nice and especially Garth and Gabriele tried their best to help – not only with academic but also other questions.

What we offer
AICOL is an approved English Pathway Provider for the 94 Queensland Government High Schools which accept international student, as well as having excellent relations with Gold Coast private primary schools and high schools. Our IELTS Test Preparation Course is also approved for entry to Queensland TAFE and to Torrens University.
In addition to our regular curriculum, we run our Winter Camp (7 weeks commencing early January), our Spring Camp (2 weeks commencing 20 March) and our Summer Camp (10 weeks commencing 19 June). All are very popular programmes offering full time English followed by chaperoned activities each weekday afternoon and a full day activity each Saturday. The Camps are designed for individuals, from young learners to adults, and are therefore popular with students and families with children alike.
Our High School Preparation programme has a scheduled sports activity as part of the curriculum every Wednesday.

* Our Fees include the consultation beforehand, school choice, assistance with all paperwork and visa application, preparation for time abroad. Pick up on arrival. Transfer to family or domestic flight depending on destination and support during entire stay in New Zealand for student and family. Airport drop off or check in support in Auckland for departure to home country depending on departure situation. We also offer orientation and farewell camps for our students on arrival and departure. Health Insurance is compulsory and can be taken out through StudyNZ with Unicare under our Masterpolicy.
